Lamentations 3:22-26

"Wait" – look, expect, hope God loves us and restores us to righteousness – our place is to seek Him and wait for Him.

His mercy and "covenant love" are steadfast. The Lord is our portion.

GOD'S WORD: Romans 14:17 "[After all] the kingdom of God is not a matter of [getting the] food and drink [one likes], but instead it is righteousness (that state which makes a person acceptable to God) and [heart] peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."

Romans 15:13 "In Christ Jesus, then, I have legitimate reason to glory (exult) in my work for God [in what through Christ Jesus I have accomplished concerning the things of God]."

SHEEP: The Kingdom of Heaven is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Our God of hope will fill us unto all joy and peace in believing. His joy will keep us fit for each day.

JESUS- seek Him each day with all your heart – require of Him of necessity

OTHERS - be sensitive to their needs and know He uses others in the work of sanctification for us.

YOURSELF - Preceded by the denial of the fleshly lusts – walking in the will of God.

We will be filled with that JOY by the Holy Spirit walking in the will of the Lord.

GOD'S WORD: 1 Peter 1:6-8 "[You should] be exceedingly glad on this account, though now for a little while you may be distressed by trials and suffer temptations,

So that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested and purified by fire. [This proving of your faith is intended] to redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed. Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.

SHEEP: When you compare the prospects of the Second Coming of Christ with our present suffering it brings us joy.. The sufferings are a foretaste of salvation through faith.

The steadfastness of our faith brings joy and glory to Him – value it more precious than gold.

It took suffering and death for Christ to break our bondage and made it possible for us to have new life. It is the path to strength and steadiness. 1 Peter 5:10

Around 3:00 p.m. the words of this song were going through my mind.
I haven't words to tell of the love of Jesus.
His love is wonderful!
It fills each passing day.
Each step He leads me
Oh what a joy to tell all the world of Jesus.
Ah, yes, but I haven't words to tell of His love to me.

SHEEP: His words to me.

SHEPHERD: You won't have to have the words. I am etching the words upon your heart. People will, have been drawn to you by what they see – My presence in your heart.

How I long for my people to know and experience the truth for themselves – how different my world would be.

Know that I am calling forth my people to become just as I have spoken. Yes, and this will be learned through the experiencing of their faith which I am asking for now through the various trials and difficulties they are going through.

Know I have not asked this of you for no reason. It has accomplished and still is accomplishing my purposes for you. You'll see! No greater joy can you know than that which is before you. Well done, my faithful servant. It is time to enter the joy of your Master. You'll see !

SHEEP: In thinking about this, I responded: I finally know the will of the Father is for us. It is to truly, from the depth of our heart to be able to say, "Be it unto me according to your will." There is no greater freedom and it is only by, and because of , your grace and mercy which follows us all the days of our lives.

Why Lord, don't we understand something so simple? Reply:

SHEPHERD: It is not so much what they understand as it is a matter of the will of man.

It is difficult to let go of their way of perceiving things – to come to me with simple child-like trust. Trying not to understand, but to take me at my word.

Pray that I will open their eyes to see they truly need the spirit of wisdom and knowledge of me.

As they acknowledge me in all ways, I will direct them. In the direction they will see my hand working in their lives as you have. They will! Know with assuredly they will.

My grace and mercy will abound! No greater freedom can my children know that is what is before them. My joy will abound! Amen
