GOD'S WORD: Psalm 24 "The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;

for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. 3 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD ? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. 5 He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior. 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah

Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty— he is the King of glory. Selah vs. Earth and all its fullness -

Ephesians 3:14-19 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

SHEEP: "all the fullness of God" – speaks of a broad based spiritually which is balanced by participating in all of God's blessings, resources and wisdom. Only certain ones are allowed in His Presence – speaks of an inmost holiness

Clean hands – Ps. 26:6 innocence Pure heart – Ps. 51:10 – singleness of purpose with a spirit that endures and stands fast on the Truth and what it says. Sworn deceitfully – Honors commitment as Your Word – Psalm 15:4.

  • Vs. 8 Door keeper asks who he is
  • Vs. 9, 10 Emphasis on the King

The King of Glory enters our hearts.
