GOD'S WORD: Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice Always"
SHEEP Rejoice as a constant discipline. Jesus will enable me to do whatever He asks me to do.
GOD'S WORD: Romans 12:12 "rejoice in hope"
SHEEP: God wants to restore man to His image. He is faithful to do this.
Restore – bring back to former nature
We've been created in His image to enjoy intimacy with Him and fellowship with Him. We are to display His love with the release of power being directed by the Holy Spirit. However, we must reach a level of maturity and unity that can only be measured in terms of "the stature of the fullness of Christ".
GOD'S WORD: Ephesians 4:13 "[That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the []full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him."
