Nancy, my wife, gave me for Christmas, a new program for my computer called Atomic Clock. It sets the STANDARD on time. It links to Greenwich time. It is the mean solar time of the meridian of Greenwich used as the prime basis of standard time throughout the world.

On the other hand, in Washington D.C., USA in the Bureau of Standards, there is a platinum bar that is used as the STANDARD for all measurements in the United States. It is 39.37 inches long. It is kept in a high vacuum at a constant temperature. If anyone would argue about the measurement of any object, it would quickly be settled by a comparison with the standard.

My friend, God has given us a STANDARD. That standard is His Word. It stands as a rule for faith and practice. Our lives are tested by its truths. Our thoughts are also tested by its truths. "Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus."

SO IF we find a thought that is opposite what is found in the standard (Bible), we say it is in error. If the thought is in agreement, it is truth.

What are some exact TRUTHS in your situations - the truths will set you free!! (1) "All things work together for good...." (2) "I will never leave you...." That is why I like reading Psalm 25:5

"Guide me in your TRUTH and teach me for you are God, My Savior, and my HOPE is in you all day long."

All of our thoughts in a given situation must be judged by the two standards above - all things work for good and He will never leave you.
