Philippians 4:7

"A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all."

Job 5:19,20

"He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven no evil shall touch you. In famine He shall redeem you from death. And in war from the power of the sword."

What an opportunity to fling ourselves into the arms of the Lord God Almighty when we feel threathened by the circumstances about us.

He promises us He will never leave us or forsake us. Psalm 103 says "For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him." Paul puts it encouragingly in Romans 8:26 saying, His Holy Spirit prays for us also. "In the sameway, the Spirit helps us in our weakness."

What a comfort to know He is ever present and quick to meet us at our need.
